This is the moment Russia’s Orion drone takes to the skies and destroys a target in mid-air during its first combat test.
The video was shared on social media by the Russian Ministry of Defence with the message: “This is the first combat test for our latest unmanned aerial attack drone ‘Orion’ against an air target during exercises at the Crimean training ground.
“During the flight, the Orion hit ground targets and a helicopter-type drone simulating a moving air target.
“The Orion UAV will significantly expand the combat capabilities of the Russian Armed Forces. It allows us to not only conduct aerial reconnaissance at great distances from the base airfield for tens of hours, but also to immediately strike at uncovered targets.
