'Rope swinging may be fun but it's far from being a walk in the park, and the young lad featured in this video found out the same the hard way.
Footage recorded by Mike Lyon shows his son bursting into tears after his little rope swing experiment goes wrong.
The moment the subject's feet leave the ground, the branch snaps, causing the boy to fall flat on his back.
"My family and I were at my mother-in-law's house visiting," Mike commented. "My 8-year-old Zaige, the one on the swing, was showing off a little. I pulled out my phone and started recording and caught his fall. His reaction was classic. Loved it!"'
