Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in person on Saturday with a focus on the pressing global challenges, including the Covid-19 pandemic, the need to combat terrorism, climate change and other important issues.

The prime minister is expected to raise the issue of terrorism, highlight India’s contribution to the world during the Covid-19 pandemic and also articulate his government's ambitions on renewable and clean energy.
