The Final Four of the juniors chess tournament is set as Leonel Escote of the Lyceum of the Philippines University defeated Ronald Canino of University of Perpetual Help System Dalta in their quarterfinals match, while Melson John Gallo of Jose Rizal University crushed Celso Sandrejo Jr. of Emilio Aguinaldo College.
