JESUS FEEDS THE MULTITUDES - Jesus: a Kingdom Without Frontiers ep. 16 - EN

The disciples are returning from a mission and meet Jesus who is preaching near the lake at Capernaum. Jesus is telling parables to explain the coming of the Kingdom of Heaven. The Master then goes off with the disciples to a quieter place, but is followed by the crowd. When evening comes, there is the problem of feeding the people gathered : with only five loaves of bread and two fishes, Jesus feeds more than five thousand people. The morning after,Jesus warns listeners not to seek material bread but spiritual bread, and he calls Himselfs the living bread, the bread of life. His listeners are scandalised by these words and many go away. Only the disciples remain: “Lord, who shall we go to, when only you have the words of eternal life...”.
