Cape Town Community restores colour to Bo-Kaap

The vibrant Bo-Kaap suburb in Cape Town is famous for its rows of colourful painted houses. But what would happen if the historic area lost its colours? An initiative is painting the façades of iconic Wale Street homes, as well as the Bo-Kaap Museum, stark white for a day. To trigger a reminder that stripping the Bo-Kaap of its colour, equates to stripping it of its culture. Tanya Nefdt reports. Courtesy #DStv403
