A mysterious brown envelope arrives in the post, eventually Matthew opens it and discovers Sweep has been left a property. Sweep tells Sooty, Soo, Scampi and Matthew that they won't be staying with him and they can sleep outside. Sweep soon finds life lonely without his friends and wants to return home to Sooty and Co. The show ends with Matthew accompanied by Sooty and Sweep playing the hand bells to "Home is Where the Heart Is".
