Two needles were found in a woman's head during a head CT scan after a car accident in central China.

The video, filmed in the city of Zhengzhou in Henan Province on September 18, shows two five-centimetre-long needles stuck in a woman's skull from x-ray pictures.

The 29-year-old woman named Zhu hospitalised in October, 2019 after she had a car accident. The doctors discovered two needles in her head when she had a CT scan.

Zhu said she has never had surgery on her head and did not feel unwell.

A doctor said the needles might have been deliberately or accidentally inserted into Zhu's head when she was a child. As the needles are thin and did not go into the important function area in her head, she did not feel them.

According to Zhu's parents, they did not know when and how did the needles were inserted into Zhu's head either. But Zhu's aunt found two black spots on her head when she adopted her from a couple during travel.

Police are investigating the case, reports said.
