A road opened up after natural gas leaking from a high-pressure pipe exploded in eastern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province on September 22, shows a section of a road with gas rising into the air suddenly exploding.

In another video, a water hose was used to dilute the gas leaking out from underground.

According to reports, a high-pressure pipe was damaged during construction work, causing the natural gas to leak.

Repairmen switched off the gas valve and the police evacuated the nearby people.

No one was injured and the case is in further investigation.
