A truck transporting stones flipped over and buried villagers who were picking up garlic on a roadside, killing eight and injuring 11 in central China.

The video, filmed in Shangcheng County in Henan Province on September 15, shows villagers picking up and packing the garlic into bags for a transport truck driver after his vehicle had tipped over, and the garlic loaded on it scattered onto the road.

In another clip, another truck transporting stones was seen flipping over at the same spot. A man can be heard saying: "Another vehicle tipped over again and more than a dozen of people were buried under it."

Reportedly the truck driver transporting the garlic collected a part of his cargo and left. So the villagers continued to pick up the rest of the vegetables and took them for themselves.

However, another truck transporting stones drove past the area and flipped over again, burying the villagers under it.

The case is under further investigation and the video was provided by local media with permission.
