Gumawa ng history si Therese Malvar nang manalo itong best supporting actress para sa dalawang pelikulang kasali sa 2018 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.
Kuwento ni Therese kay Jimpy Anarcon sa kanyang PEP Live interview nung September 3, Huwebes, napaiyak daw agad siya kahit nung ini-introduce pa lang ng presenter ang nanalong best supporting actress.
"Nung sinabing 'tie,' akala ko talaga... 'Hala, sino kaya yun?' Yung gano'n.
"But when they said, 'This award will be awarded to one actress but for two movies.'
"Sa sentence pa lang po na iyon, sobrang umiyak na 'ko agad," lahad ni Therese.
Obvious na raw kasi para sa lahat ng naroon kung sino ang tinutukoy ng presenter ng award.
Nanalo si Therese sa kategoryang best supporting actress sa 2018 Cinemalaya Indie filmfest para sa mga pelikulang Distance at School Service.
