Firefighters rescued motorists after their car was buried under a tree blown down by typhoon Mekkhala in southern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Zhangzhou in Fujian Province on August 11, shows firefighters breaking and moving away the tree branches and opening the car door to free six people trapped inside.

Due to typhoon Mekkhala, the tree was blown down and struck the car.

All trapped people were rescued successfully, reports said.
