IPL 2020 : Chinese Company VIVO withdraws as IPL title sponsor for IPL Season 13|वनइंडिया हिंदी

In the wake of rising anti-China sentiments in the country, Indian Premier League (IPL) title sponsor VIVO pulls out of the sponsorship for this year. The border tensions between the two neighbouring countries have fanned the anti-China sentiments across the country and voices were growing that the IPL should also sever its ties with Vivo - which is also a Chinese smartphone company. The central government had also banned a whole host of Chinese apps.

चीन को एक और बड़ा झटका लगा है. इस साल IPL में VIVO स्पॉन्सर नहीं होगा. आईपीएल गवर्निंग काउंसिल की मीटिंग में चीनी स्पॉन्सर को रख दिये जाने के बाद चारों तरफ से इसका विरोध हो रहा था. अब ये खबर आई है कि आईपीएल 2020 में VIVO स्पॉन्सर नहीं होगा. वीवो कंपनी ने खुद बीसीसीआई से कहा कि वो इस साल स्पॉन्सर नहीं होगा, लेकिन 2021 से 2023 तक वो स्पॉन्सर रहेगा. क्योंकि वीवो इंडिया ने 2017 में आईपीएल टाइटल प्रायोजन अधिकार 2199 करोड़ रुपये में हासिल किए थे. इससे लीग को हर सीजन में उसे करीब 440 करोड़ रुपये का भुगतान करना था.
