President Donald signed on Tuesday the Hong Kong Autonomy Act, which approves sanctions on Chinese officials and banks, as well as an executive order ending Hong Kong's preferential trade treatment. The president said he took the actions to “hold China accountable for its oppressive actions against the people of Hong Kong.”
