This was the beautiful moment a family in Tyne and Wear, northeast England were reunited after six months apart, due to coronavirus.

The clip, filmed on June 13, shows the moment Toni and her sisters were reunited with their grandparents after the government eased lockdown to be able to see family again, from a safe distance.

"It’s been six months since I’ve seen my gorgeous family as lockdown happened just before I was meant to visit home. Thankfully lockdown measures have lifted so I decided to get a train home and surprise my grandparents and this was their reaction!" Toni told Newsflare.
