If Nagpur’s Mayor is not safe, how will law-order work in Maharashtra: Fadnavis

Nagpur’s Mayor Sandip Joshi was attacked by two bike-borne miscreants on Dec 17. Joshi luckily escaped unharmed. Speaking on the matter, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said, “The matter of firing on Nagpur’s Mayor Sandip Joshi is a serious issue. If the Mayor of Nagpur is not safe, then how will the law and order work here? The government should immediately rectify this and we demand immediate judicial custody of accused.” He further said that BJP will raise this issue in the Maharashtra Assembly.
