JC de Vera cherishes last 'Legal Wife' scenes

MANILA - Actor JC de Vera said he makes it a point to cherish his scenes in the top-rating series "The Legal Wife," which is now down to its last two weeks. In an interview on "Umagang Kay Ganda" aired Tuesday, de Vera said he will always remember his role as Max, confidant of Monica (Angel Locsin). "Every taping day, every scene na kinukunan ko sa 'The Legal Wife,' ano 'yun, very memorable 'yun. Lalo na 'yung kay Angel at Maja (Salvador). Every scene na ginagawa ko kasama sila, chini-cherish ko 'yun, kasi baka hindi na maulit 'yung ganitong story," he said. De Vera went on to say that the whole cast and production of "The Legal Wife" are thankful to the televiewers for expressing their support for the primetime soap. Meanwhile, de Vera shared some of the things that viewers can expect as "The Legal Wife" nears its finale. "Kung ano ang magiging decision ni Monica, kung babalik ba siya kay Adrian (Jericho Rosales) o hindi. Kay Adrian naman, tina-try niya to win back si Monica pero at the same time hindi niya din maiwan yung isa (Nicole, played by Maja Salvador), so kailangan nating abangan kung sino sa dalawa ang babalikan niya. For Nicole tina-try niya i-win si Adrian para sa kanya. Ako, nandoon lang ako ay Monica, susuportahan ko lang siya," he said. Like other men, de Vera admitted that he can also somewhat relate to the character of Adrian, who cheated on his wife, Monica. "Ako naman hindi ko naman sinasabi na clean ako, hindi ba? Nagkakamali ka rin naman pero hindi ko din naman sinasabi na hindi rin ako faithful," he said. "The Legal Wife" airs weeknights on ABS-CBN Channel 2 after "Ikaw Lamang."
