Motorcyclists Rescue Puppy From Desert Roadside

Steve and his friend were riding their motorcycles when they came across a puppy on the side of a desert road. They decided they couldn't just leave her there, so Steve picked the little cutie up, put her safely in his jacket and rescued her from the inevitable dangers of being stranded in the desert alone. Because they found her in Cortez, Colorado, they decided to name her Cortez — and after discovering she wasn't microchipped, Steve's parents even ended up adopting her. What a sweet story; we're so glad little Cortez got to stay in the family!
