Pres. Moon invites S. Korean U-20 team to Blue House dinner banquet

President Moon Jae-in thanked and congratulated the U-20 World Cup team for their outstanding performance at the FIFA tournament in Poland this year, finishing in second place.
During a dinner banquet at the top office,... he said the team did the country proud and brought joy to the people.
"The last three weeks were moments of happiness and excitement. You did your best for the nation, and gave happiness to our fellow citizens. I hope the team will advance forward with the same spirit of joy towards higher goals."
The South Korean leader and the first lady watched the game on their way to the airport,... before heading home from the recent Nordic diplomacy tour.
A Swedish guard asked about the game because they kept shouting,... and said he was also disappointed to hear that team Korea was losing.
The president also mentioned he was glad to see the young taeguk warriors enjoying the game,... while also being considerate to and trusting each other.
