정부, 남북공동연락사무소 소장회의 비정례화 방침... "협의해 가능한 날에"

South Korea might be calling off the high-level weekly meetings at the inter-Korean liaison office,... seeing as the ranking North Korean official hasn't shown up since February... when the Hanoi summit fell apart.
A high-level government official said Thursday that Seoul is thinking of sending its liaison office minister... only when needed... instead of every Friday.
Still, the official said, the contact office will function just as well... since the liaison officers there meet every day.
The official said it's regrettable that there can't be meetings on a regular basis, but added that the two sides will meet when they need to.
