Mood Swing, out of West Palm Beach, is a soulful funk band with flavors of disco, reggae and blues. This trio blends groove and melodies underneath 2 part harmonies to create a distinct sound. The band has been playing venues like Voltaire and Elizabeth Ave Station in West Palm Beach, Crazy Uncle Mike’s in Boca Raton, The Hippodrome in Gainesville and many more.
Mood Swing is made up of Evan “Grooves” Whitney (drums/vocals), Dakota “Raise the Quota” Dawkins (guitar/bass/vocals), and Matt “Matt Brown” Brown (bass/keys/guitar/vocals).
