Large beaches and small boats in Goa
Tide comes in on a calm evening, in Goa... And for a change, the crowds are absent!

Goa offers relaxing views of beaches and coconut trees alike, apart from shanties, crowds, cheap food and booze!

Goa is the smallest but one of the most beautiful states in India. Goa is a coastal paradise. Every year large gathering of tourists from all over the world come to explore the beaches of Goa. Although Goa is widely known as a beach destination, it is also known for its unique culture, tradition, history, monuments, forts, palaces, churches, temples, etc. Due to its breathtakingly beautiful beaches and superb natural beauty, Goa always tops the list when it comes to best honeymoon destinations in India. One of the best ways to enjoy entertainment on a Goa beach is by taking part in musical parties which are celebrated on any of the popular Goa beach. Musical parties that are celebrated on Goa beach the whole night are also known as trance parties. Some of these are illegal as drugs also do the rounds here, so watch where you head! There are more than 36 beautiful Goa beaches and each Goa beach has an individuality of its own.

Goa beaches are an ideal assortment of fun, sand, surf, sea and a lot of lip-smacking seafood. Right from enjoying the water sports to lazing around on the sand...

One of the best Goa beaches is the Arambol beach, which is located at least 50 kilometers from Panaji. It is a perfect beach for romantic couples as it is secluded and ensures a great deal of privacy. Furthermore, there are fresh water lakes and sulphur springs nearby that you can explore to the hilt. Another beach that comes in the listing of best (and most crowded and perhaps filthy!) Goa beaches is the Anjuna beach located 8 kilometers from Mapusa. There are a host of flea markets lined on the beach along with the Albuquerque Mansion and Chapora Fort located in close proximity. Up next comes a popular name among the Goa best beaches: the Bogmalo beach. The Bogmalo beach is a very famous beach among all the Goa beaches and is located at 4 kilometers from the Dabolim airport.
