Hey Joe arranged For Open D Tuning Lesson

This Open D Tuning lesson I show the chords to the song "Hey Joe." so you can arrange the song in Open D if you want. There are a lot of licks and chords in Open D Tuning that are fun to play with and you can arrange so many different songs in this Open Tuning. My hope is that you'll learn them and the licks, riffs, and scale parts and arrange your own version of the song "Hey Joe."
I teach the guitar bass line to "hey Joe" too. It's difficult when you're beginning to get the bass line in time. It just replaces the chords chromatically anyway. If you practice it slow and steady it will come. I still screw it up all the time and I've known it for years.
Just remember to stick with it and do it over and over and over. There are a lot of sliding licks and riffs in open d that you can play with this song. Have fun.
