Photos of only President, Prime Minister and CJI can appear in government ads, says Supreme Court

The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued guidelines on central government advertisements, restricting the use of political leaders photos in government advertisements.

The court said that the photos of President, Prime Minister, Chief Justice of India and departed National leaders (like Mahatma Gandhi) can be used in government ads.
