Admission seekers and their parents have raised concern at the latest cutoffs at Delhi University's prestigious St Stephen's College. At the top is a shocking 98% cutoff for commerce stream students who aspire to study BA English (honours) course. This is followed by 97.75% for economics. Science courses too have seen a 1 to 3 per cent rise in the cutoff this year over last year. The college has justified the rise saying there's been a significant increase in the number of applicants scoring 97% and above in their Class XII best four subjects.
