At a young age, Tiloun started his journey into Maloya (traditional music of Reunion Island, his homeland). With mentors such as Firmin Viry, Alain Peters, Danyel Waro and Ziskakan, he rose to success becoming one of the island's most noteworthy personalities. His melodious Maloya has travelled to places such as India, China and Europe. His astounding voice has been used for years to sing about love, broken relationships and the social issues that he came across during his life. Tiloun's delicate yet striking voice mixed with his uncluttered and harmonious maloya works wonders! Today, Tiloun's latest album Konfidans is a milestone for his return and proves that he is still and will remain an icon for the genre.
