Somos El Loco del Bosque, banda formada en Mendoza por Juana Kevorkian (guitarra-vocespercusión), Julián Carrizo (guitarra, voces, percusión) y Tomás Carniel (voces- percusión).
Comenzamos a principios del 2018 creando nuestras propias canciones y tocando donde podamos. Para principios de 2019 ya estaremos compartiendo nuestro primer EP.
En este video de “Cansada” pueden ver a Julián en guitarra, Juana en voz principal y Tomás en cajón y coros. Con la creatividad y el juego presentes, las ganas de armar una banda no tardaron en salir. Encontrados en la improvisación, con la música ya incorporada como un espacio de creación donde el aporte de cada uno se toma para la composición de las canciones.
La simplicidad instrumental nos permitió probarnos en todos los roles para que luego, siguiendo con lo lúdico, la rotación en las posiciones se haga parte del formato de la banda. Queremos hacer la música que nos gusta escuchar y ese es un amplio espectro, por eso no nos gusta encasillarnos en un solo estilo.
El loco del bosque (The madman of the forest) is a band formed in Mendoza by Juana Kevorkian (guitar- vocals- drums), Julián Carrizo (guitar-vocals-drums) and Tomás Carniel (vocals- drums). The group started at the beginning of 2018 creating their own songs and playing live whenever and wherever they could. They will release their first EP by the beginning of 2019.
In this video for the song “Cansada” Julián plays the guitar, Juana the main vocals and Tomás the cajón (peruvian box-shaped percussion instrument) and chorus. After realizing they shared both creativity and excitement for playing, a band was soon formed. They found themselves improvising
and incorporating music as a creative outlet where the contribution of each member can be taken into account for song composition.
Based on basic instrumental structures and a will for playfulness, they started experimenting with their roles, leading to their usual live practice of switching instruments, which became part of the band’s formula. Their goal is to make music that they’d like to listen to. That covers a wide range of styles, so they can’t be included in just one music genre.
