Deepavali Tamil Movie features Jayam Ravi and Bhavana. Directed by Ezhil, music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and produced by N Linguswamy and N Subash Chandrabose. Deepavali movie also features Raghuvaran, Vijayakumar, Lal among others.

Jayam Ravi is the son of a local don. Jayam Ravi meets Bhavana and falls in love with her. While Bhavana initially refuses to accept her feelings for Jayam Ravi, she eventually enjoys being in his company. Once Bhavana fails to recognise a person who claims to be her best friend. Bhavana reveals to Jayam Ravi that post an recently, she doesn't have any memory of the past 3 years. Jayam Ravi consults a doctor who says Bhavana can be cured but will result in her forgetting the three years' memory including Jayam Ravi. Bhavana makes Jayam Ravi promise that he'll never leave her. Bhavana is forcefully taken back to Bangalore. AFter some time, when Jayam Ravi meets her, Bhavana fails to recognise him. How Jayam Ravi convinces her about his love forms the rest of the story.
