Pazhani, played by Bharath is arrested for the of his father for having an affair when he was 10 years old. After living in jail for 15 years, he comes out of the jail only to find out his sister Kushboo hates him. Pazhani realises his sister is in the same situation as his mother with his brother-in-law Biju Menon having an affair with Aishwarya. Pazhani vows to set right his sister's life. How Pazhani manages to bring Biju Menon back to Kushboo forms the crux of the story.
Pazhani songs are composed by Srikanth Deva. Pazhani was an image makeover for Bharath who was until then seen in films. Pazhani Movie was his first attempt in action roles. Pazhani managed to do well at the Box office thus cementing Bharath's image as an action hero.
