Trio-Re is a Tehran-based collaboration between three Iranian young artists from differrent musical backgrounds: vocalist Makan Ashgavari, tar player Sanaz Sattarzadeh and guitarist Alireza Ghahremani. Their music is inspired by a variety of Iranian traditional and folk music, using mostly classical persian poetry and jazz harmonies at the same time. The band recently played in Jodhpur Riff Festival 2018 and received great welcome from the audience and international musicians. Trio-Re's musical journey begins with improvisation and continues with creative composition of exciting contemporary tunes.
