India Seal Historic Win over Australia in Adelaide to Take 1-0 Series Lead, India scripted history on Monday by registering a win in the opening Test of a series in Australia for the very first time by clinching a victory over the hosts by 31 runs on day five at the Adelaide Oval. Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and pace-bowlers Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah combined to tear through the Australian batting when it mattered the most. Chasing a huge target of 323 runs to win, Shaun Marsh (60) and skipper Tim Paine (41) were the top scorers for Australia.Pat Cummins (28), Mitchell Starc (28) and Nathan Lyon (38) also made significant contributions to delay a victory for India.

एडिलेड ओवल में भारत ने ऑस्ट्रेलिया को 31 रनों से पीट दिया है. इसी के साथ ही विराट की सेना ने चार मैचों की टेस्ट सीरीज में 1-0 से बढ़त हासिल कर ली है. भारत ने 10 साल बाद ऑस्ट्रेलिया में कोई टेस्ट मैच जीता है.ऑस्ट्रेलियाई धरती पर भारत को 45 टेस्ट मैचों में छठी जीत हासिल हुई. इस मैच में कंगारू गेंदबाजों ने टीम इंडिया को पहली पारी में 250 रनों पर समेट दिया. इसके बाद भारतीय गेंदबाजों ने भी ऑस्ट्रेलिया को पहली पारी में 235 रनों पर ऑलआउट कर दिया. भारत को पहली पारी के आधार पर 15 रनों की बढ़त मिल गई. भारत की दूसरी पारी 307 रन पर सिमट गई. इसी के साथ ही ऑस्ट्रेलिया को जीत के लिए 323 रनों का टारगेट मिला. लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरी कंगारू टीम को दूसरी पारी में भारतीय गेंदबाजों ने 291 रन पर ऑलआउट कर इतिहास रच दिया.
