Two Koreas to complete disarmament of guard posts in DMZ

The two Koreas are expected to complete the disarmament of 11 guard posts from each side of the Demilitarized Zone before the end of the day.
Seoul's Defense Ministry says the two Koreas will remove all weapons and withdraw security personnel,... in accordance with the comprehensive inter-Korean military agreement reached in September.
Seoul and Pyeongyang will verify their removal together in December.
The disarmament of the DMZ guard posts is in line with efforts to turn the area into a peace zone.
