J&K: Forces launched search operations in Hajin, Bandipora district

Government forces on Friday launched cordon-and-search-operations (CASOs) in Hajin locality and Chittibandey area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district. An official said that a joint team of army's 13 RR unit, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched searches after inputs about the presence of militants in Khos Mohalla locality of Hajin. Search operation was going on when last reports came. Meanwhile, another cordon and search operation was launched by government forces in Chittibandey village of Bandipora. An official said that the search operation was launched by a joint team of army 20 Grenadiers unit and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police in Langer Mohalla locality of Chittibandey in Bandipora.
