Shark in pyjamas? Odd South African creature rocks stripes

Stunning footage of a rare (but not endangered) pyjama shark sweeping through shallow waters off the coast of South Africa.

The pyjama shark is a kind of catshark – usually found in warmer, tropical waters worldwide. However, the pyjama shark is specifically local to this region.

"Here a pyjama shark swims towards my GoPro as I (carefully) walk backwards through the tidal pools," said the filmer. "Stunning and friendly sharks with very unique stripes, earning them the 'pyjama' in their name."
