Two people who were taken into custody this month from a rundown compound in New Mexico are being accused of targeting Grady Memorial Hospital for a possible attack, notes the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
According to CNN, prosecutors filed a 13-page motion stating that children rescued from the site told authorities that one of the women, 35-year-old Jany Leveille, "intended to confront 'corrupt' institutions or individuals, such as the military, big businesses, CIA, teachers/schools and reveal the 'truth' to these corrupt institutions or individuals."
CNN's report adds: "If her message failed to persuade members of those institutions, the plan called for her to signal [her partner] Siraj Wahhaj to 'shoot or otherwise attack the non-believer.' One such institution was Grady Memorial Hospital, the document said. Leveille, in a journal, had 'expressed her displeasure with Grady Hospital ... due to the treatment she and her mother received there.'"
According to WSB, while further details about what happened at the hospital were reportedly not provided, there was said to be a hand-written document titled "Phases of a Terrorist Attack," included in the filing which was submitted to try and overturn a bond the couple and three others were granted days ago.
The five adults, who are still said to be in custody, were arrested after 11 children in their care were found to be in poor condition. A toddler's remains were also found on the property.
