First, I chat with former NBA scouting director and current President of TPG Sports Group Pete Philo about the Ball family over in Lithuania. Pete has been to Lithuania on over 50 scouting trips, and is as much an expert on the area as anyone in the public sphere. Pete discusses the differences in talent level, the lack of foresight by LaVar from a player development perspective, and creates a realistic development plan for LaMelo Ball to reach his ceiling as a player.
