We were lucky enough to try Japanese ryokan relaxation at two different styles of ryokan in Iwate. Hotel Yusen Shidate gave us a taste of the exclusive, elite ryokan hospitality while Hotel Shidotaira is a more family friendly resort with ivities for everyone in the family.
