Mexico Claims Time Running Out For Short Term NAFTA Agreement

On Thursday, Mexico warned that time was running out to see whether NAFTA nations could reach a new short term agreement, while Canada stayed upbeat, claiming this week's top-level talks achieved a great deal. According to a source close to the talks, U.S. officials have told Canada and Mexico that May 17 or 18 would be the deadline for a quick-fix that could be dealt with by the current U.S. Congress.
