Trump Goes After Comey Over Clinton, Again Calls Him 'Slimeball'

President Trump on Sunday went after James Comey on Twitter.

President Trump on Sunday resumed his Twitter attack against former FBI Director James Comey, days after he called him an "untruthful slime ball."
"Unbelievably, James Comey states that Polls, where Crooked Hillary [Clinton] was leading, were a factor in the handling (stupidly) of the Clinton Email probe," Trump wrote. "In other words, he was making decisions based on the fact that he thought she was going to win, and he wanted a job. Slimeball!"
Trump's tweet is an apparent reference to the comments Comey made during his ABC News interview.
In another tweet minutes later, the president slammed Comey's new book, "A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, And Leadership."
"The big questions in Comey's badly reviewed book aren't answered like, how come he gave up Classified Information (jail), why did he lie to Congress (jail), why did the DNC refuse to give Server to the FBI (why didn't they TAKE it), why the phony memos, McCabe's $700,000 & more?" Trump tweeted.
While Comey's book is scheduled to be released on April 17, leaked transcripts reveal that he describes Trump as "untethered to truth" and compares him to a mafia boss.

Comey was abruptly fired by Trump in May of last year.
