Chetak helicopter crashed near Murud in Raigad; assistant Commandant Capt. Penny dies

Assistant Commandant Capt. Penny Chaudhary, co-pilot of the Indian Coast Guard Chetak helicopter, which crashed near Murud in Raigad earlier this month, is dead. She was on life support following a brain surgery at the naval hospital in Colaba. Penny Chaudhary hit on helmet by rotor blade following crash.

The chopper was on a routine sortie earlier this month with four passengers: Deputy Commandant Balwinder Singh, Assistant Commandant Choudhary, and two divers Sandeep and Baljeet.
