She found out that her boyfriend at the time was gay.
The Grammy winner sang about him in her song, "Infatuation."
On Thursday, the singer revealed the secret on "Untucked," RuPaul’s Drag Race’s aftershow.
The 37-year-old said, "It was heartbreaking because I found out he played for your team, not mine."
