Trump: Democrats Are Treating DACA Recipients 'BADLY'

President Trump on Friday lashed out at Democrats over the DACA issue.

President Trump on Friday tweeted that Democrats are treating recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program "badly."
"Cannot believe how BADLY DACA recipients have been treated by the Democrats...totally abandoned! Republicans are still working hard," Trump wrote on Twitter.
His tweet comes after the New York Times reported Thursday that "senators voted overwhelmingly, 39 to 60, against the White House-backed bill, which would have committed $25 billion for a wall along the border with Mexico, placed strict limits on legal immigration, ended the diversity visa lottery and offered 1.8 million Dreamers an eventual path to citizenship."
"Democrats refused its get-tough approach to legal immigration, while many conservative Republicans derided it as amnesty," the Times added.
Trump has posted many tweets on the DACA issue as Congress faces the March 5 deadline to come up with a legislative solution for 'Dreamers,' undocumented immigrants brought into the U.S. as children.
"Republicans want to fix DACA far more than the Democrats do. The Dems had all three branches of government back in 2008-2011, and they decided not to do anything about DACA. They only want to use it as a campaign issue. Vote Republican!" the president tweeted on Saturday.
Trump announced in September that he would be ending the DACA program and tasked lawmakers with creating a plan that will offer continued protections to the program's roughly 800,000 participants.
