A memorial was held in Milan to honour the still-open case surrounding the death of Italian Cambridge University graduate Giulio Regent, who was abucted and tortured to death in Egypt.

The video, shot on January 25, shows a large group of people standing in silence in the rain in Milan's city centre to commemorate Regeni.

An Italian prosecutor has recently said that Regeni was killed because of his research on Egypt's trade unions.
