Forge the Rubicon is a South Florida rock/indie/pop band formed by Luis C. Gomez Rojas (music composer, song recording, all instruments, mixing and lyrics) and Richard Allen (lyrics, band manager and producer).
Born in 1985 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Luis grew up in a musical family, and his mother and sisters are professional touring musicians. A rising star at age 12 in major choral groups, Luis appeared in performances for large-scale events and learned the drums. With his naturally expressive rhythm and deep understanding of music he picked up the guitar and piano and played with his brother in a professional rock band.
In 2008 he moved to America and started work as a drummer and singer in a band that quickly became well known for his talent and works regularly in South Florida.
