Homesick 'Jungle Man' Returns To The Only Place He Calls Home

While most of us might vacation in the Vietnamese jungle and eagerly fly home to the suburbs, jungle survivor Ho Van Lang can't wait to get back to the place in nature he loves—filmmaking team in tow.

Ho grew up in the jungle after his father fled society during the end of the Vietnam War. He lived his entire life in the jungle before being discovered three years ago and has been trying to live in regular society since then. Although he absolutely lacks experience with other people, technology or urban living, he's a superhuman wilderness expert who's survived for four decades in a hostile jungle environment. It's this unique and very human story that Alvaro Cerezo and the Docastaway film team want to share in a series of compelling documentary shorts.
