Fans of Akshay Kumar, who are eagerly awaiting updates on his upcoming film ‘Airlift’, are in for an awesome gift this Wednesday. The ‘Khiladi’ today took to Twitter to announce that the teaser of the film is slated to be unveiled on Wednesday.
Taking to his Twitter page, Kumar wrote, “India sets a Guinness world record by safely evacuating more than 170000 ppl over 59 days #AirliftTeaserOnWednesday.” Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, ‘Airlift’ is based on the biggest human evacuation in the history of mankind, which happened during the First Gulf War when a NRI businessman named Ranjit Katyal helped get 1,70,000 stranded Indians out of war-torn Kuwait during the Iraq invasion.
Apart from Akshay, who plays Ranjit Katyal in the film, ‘Airlift’ also stars Nimrat Kaur, who plays his wife.
