Kovalam, a seaside paradise in God's Own Country, Kerala witnessed the largest Christmas Cake in the World!!! Udaya Samudra Leisure Beach Hotel created a new record of the largest Christmas cake by making a cake of 30ft. length, 2 ft width and 2500 kgs of weight! The cake was cut into 22,000 pieces on the christmas eve, 24th December, 2007 at 8 pm. The previous record was for Mercure Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, whichwas of 27.6 feet length and was cut into 19,212 portions.
