Gold Diggers of 1933 was a Busby Berkeley musical and dance extravaganza starring Ginger Rogers and Dick Powell produced as a sequel to Warner Brother's successful 42nd Street which had also featured Rogers and Powell. The movie was released May 27, 1933 just 10 weeks after 42nd Street had debuted. A few scenes from the Gold Diggers of 1933 movie are shown with Ginger Rogers and the Original 42nd Street Chorus cast. The movie soundtrack was provided by the Vitaphone Orchestra and Reisman took advantage of the movies' popularity by recording a version of "We're in the Money Now" which was identified on the Victor label as The Gold Diggers Song, also released in 1933. Fred Astaire is the vocalist for Reisman's Orchestra.
