Michael Fassbender is in talks to star in the adaptation of Jo Nesbo's crime thriller The Snowman. Although no role was specified for the actor it seems most likely he will play the lead role of Detective Harry Hole, who starts investigating a missing person's case involving a young boy's mother. The only thing she left behind is a red scarf, which has been wrapped around a snowman that mysteriously appeared in their front yard. The book was released in 2007, and is the seventh installment of the author's Harry Hole novel series. Tomas Alfredson is directing but it isn't known when production may begin and when the movie will be released. We'll keep you updated.
