Hi Jatt Brethren,
Jatt is a Kaum, caste or tribe and only those born of a Jatt father could be Jatt and not the one who do agriculture, which is a profession or Kittah. A Baniya could do agriculture and he would not be a Jatt. Saini, Sarsut, Gaur, etc. many tribes are doing agriculture; they cannot be Jatts.
Agriculturists are KIRSAAN.
Further, the courtesy title of Jatts and Gujjars is “Chaudhry” and Chaudhry's wife is called Chaudrani. Similarly, we have in India, a general courtesy title SHRIMAN for men as Mr. is in Europe and SHRIMATTI for wife as Mrs. is. Whereas Shri is for the purely spiritual people with no concern with physical body that is male and female in gender.
Avtars are common for all and they being spiritual Guides are addressed as Shri, which is highest honourable title. Shri has no Shrimatti as our spiritual self is the same in man and in women.
Shri courtesy title also goes to Eunuchs or Heejrre for they are neither male nor female.
So, my name is Chaudhry (Courtesy title of being a Jatt) Rajinder Nijjhar (Last is my surname or family name or seed, Tukhum). So, Chaudhry is not the seed or Beej or Bind but the courtesy title of Jatts and Gujjars. Shopkeepers are called Lalas and they are Baniyas (Lala Gandhi), Khatris (Lala Tara Singh Malhotra Khatri and Lala Nanak Dev Ji and others), Arorras, Bhatia (Lala Mohammed Ali Jinnah), etc.
Further, Ariya is a race and not a community, Panth or Samaj into which anyone could join. So, please beware of the Khatris and other Lalas.
Do not forget our tribal brethren in Pakistan. We have the same Gotras. Religion is a matter of heart and not of the physical selves. When there is a fight between India and Pakistan, we Jatts in forces kill each other. This is called:-
JAATTRRA SE KAATTRRA APNA HI GHAR GHALE SE. - Most stupid people.
So, wake up and replace the courtesy title with Chaudhry and put your surname at the end to tell that you are seed of such tribal Jatt Gotra for recognition. A bastard born of the prostitute or of the Temple Daasi, does not have a surname but you have one. Eunuchs, bastards who are not allowed to marry, etc. have the courtesy title of "Shri" and they are called Harijan.
So, take care of your senses and invite Jatts of Pakistan as your tribal brethren.
